USA Lab UC/DLSB Series Chiller Pump Upgrade Guide
(For replacement pumps purchased after 6/21/23) This guide explains how to upgrade to the new-style pump used on UC Series chillers. Steps include removing the old pump (via a separate guide), checking pump orientation, mounting the new pump to the existing bracket, and reinstalling insulation.

STEP 1 — Remove the Old Pump
- Follow the Pump Replacement Guide located in the Knowledge Base:
- Follow Steps 1–10 in that guide.
- If you need help locating the guide, contact support.
STEP 2 — Check Orientation of the New Pump
- Compare the new-style pump to the old pump:
- Ensure the inlet and outlet paths match your system.
- If orientation differs, remove the screws and rotate the housing 180°.
STEP 3 — Attach the New Pump to the Existing Bracket
- Remove the two bottom screws from the old bracket.
- Position the new pump onto the bracket.
- Tighten screws to secure the pump in place.
STEP 4 — Re-wrap Insulation and Reassemble
- Re-wrap the insulation around the newly installed pump and reverse the disassembly steps to finalize installation.
