STEP 1 — Remove the Four Screws on Top of the Motor Housing
- Remove the four screws located on the top of the motor housing (shown on pg.1).
- These screws allow the top cover to begin separating from the housing.
STEP 2 — Remove the Four Screws for the Back Plate
- Remove the four screws on the back plate of the unit.
- This frees the rear housing panel and exposes the wiring and motor assembly.
STEP 3 — Cut the Two Zip-Ties
- Cut the two zip-ties securing the wiring bundle inside the housing (pg.2 images).
- This allows full movement of the wiring when lifting the motor housing off the base.
STEP 4 — Disconnect the Two Connectors
- Disconnect the two connectors shown in the images on pg.2.
- These are the only connectors that need to be detached to remove the motor housing.
Remove Motor Housing
- Once the screws, zip-ties, and connectors are removed, the motor housing can be lifted away from the base.
- To install the new motor, follow all steps in reverse order.
