Quick Setup Instructions
Included in the box:

1x UC Series Chiller
-
12 ft Insulated Tubing
-
Brass Barb Fittings + Ball Valve
-
PTFE Tape, Manual
Positioning:
-
Keep at least 12–16 inches of space around the unit for ventilation.
-
Place the chiller within 6 ft of the system you’re cooling.
Fluid Requirements
Use Propylene Glycol (PG) + Distilled Water.
NEVER use tap water or automotive antifreeze.

Priming Instructions (First Use)

Close outlet valve.
-
Fill reservoir with glycol mix no higher than 2” below inlet port.

Connect tubing in a loop from outlet → inlet.
-
Open outlet valve and turn on unit.
-
Run internal pump for 5 mins (press “LOOP” or “CYCLE”).
-
Check for strong flow and no air bubbles.
-
Shut off pump and close outlet valve.
Repeat for external system after loop is primed.
Operating the Chiller

Open outlet valve.
-
Power on unit and display.
-
Run internal pump (“LOOP” or “CYCLE”).
-
Set temperature:
-
LCD Models: Use SET and arrow buttons → COOLING
-
PLC Models (30/80): Select SV → Cool
-

Wait 5–10 mins for compressor to engage.
Do not run more than 16 hours straight to preserve compressor life.
Maintenance Tips

Daily: Check fluid level and for leaks
-
Every 3 months: Replace fluid, inspect hoses and electrical connections

Monthly (if dusty): Clean condenser coils with compressed air
-
Store dry and capped when not in use long-term.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Possible Causes | Fix |
---|---|---|
No cooling | Fan failure, low refrigerant | Check fan, call HVAC tech if needed |
Slow cooling | Glycol mix wrong, blocked flow | Reprime, check fluid ratio & tubing |
Unit shocks | Improper grounding | Inspect and fix grounding immediately |
No display | Wrong power input, faulty board | Verify voltage, contact support |
